Section 4: Application
Mixing
MIXING XO2
You now have a fully prepped surface area and are ready to start the XO2 application process. We are ready to mix XO2.
You will need a high speed drill to mix XO2 and the supplied mixing paddle. Let’s do an example of a large batch mix in black. Grab a 5 quart mixing container. Place a piece of tape or use a marker to mark a line between the 4 and 5 quart line. Add the following in this order: Add 1 quart of the B component, 1 quart of the C Component and ½ cup of black tint. This will raise the line in the mixing container to slightly above 2 quarts. A large batch is 4.5 quarts so now add the A component until you reach the marked 4.5 quart line.
2 Gallon Kit Mixing
Simply mix the B, C, and Color into the A container and mix for 30-45 seconds.

NOTE: You must add the components in this order: 1 part B, 1 part C, Color, 2.5 parts A.
Insert the mixing paddle into the mixture and start the drill slowly as not to spill. Once the mixture thickens up you can start to increase the speed of the drill. Mix until the color is uniform. You should mix for 30-45 seconds. Over-mixing may result in a dramatic pot life reduction. Once mixed you have an average of 20 minutes pot life as this time can vary depending on temperature and mix time. You are now ready to begin the application process.
