Application of Scorpion XO2
CLEANING THE SURFACE
You have successfully taped and sanded your application. Now you need to clean the surface so that the 8001 adhesion promoter can adhere to the surface. First use your air hose and blow out any dust and/or debris. You can also use a shop vacuum if needed.
Once finished, use Prime Bond Cleaner and a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe the area clean. It may take several cloths to clean a truck bed. Work from the front to the rear of the bed applying Prime Bond Cleaner and then wiping area clean. Work in spot areas until the bed or surface area is clean.
Having a truly clean surface to begin application is critical for a quality spray job. Failure to clean a surface area will result in a faulty application as the 8001 Adhesion Promoter will not make a quality adhesion to the prepped surface.
