Lanier Auto Center in Buford, GA was tired of getting pushed around by their local bedliner supplier and decided to take matter in its own hands.

Lanier was subcontracting all of its bedliners out to a local franchise accessory supplier who had become unresponsive to its needs, squeezing out the margins of the add-on for the dealership and putting itself in direct completion with dealership.

Scorpion worked with Lanier to install a large scale bedliner operation, focusing on lowest price point in terms of Cost of Goods Sold for the bedliners by incorporating a high pressure system.

Instead of ceding the victory, and money, to the local franchise supplier – Lanier Auto Center decided to let them know who was boss and called in Scorpion to help them formulate a battle plan.

Scorpion worked with Lanier to install a large scale bedliner operation, focusing on lowest price point in terms of Cost of Goods Sold for the bedliners by incorporating a high pressure system. The dealership was being forced to pay at least $375 per vehicle through their old supplier. Scorpion and Lanier put together a plan that now placed their TOTAL cost of materials at $58.50 per vehicle – yielding an 84% decrease in costs! Scorpion then spent 4 days on location helping Lanier put together a operation of devastation pointed directly at the dealership’s former bedliner supplier.

As with any great battle, a victory flag needed to be raised. Scorpion helped Lanier design a massive banner that was installed directly across the street from its former supplier.
